The SKY87 supports three connection modes:

1. 2.4GHz Wireless – suitable for responsive wireless gaming.
2. Bluetooth 5.0 – convenient for laptops, tablets, and other compatible devices.
3. USB Type-C Wired – provides a stable wired connection and allows charging.

This makes the keyboard suitable for both gaming and multi-device setups.

88-Key Compact Layout

The 88-key 85% compact layout provides many of the essential keys found on a traditional TKL keyboard while maintaining a relatively compact footprint. This gives gamers more desk space while retaining useful navigation and function keys.

Hot-Swappable Mechanical Switches

The SKY87 supports 3-pin and 5-pin hot-swappable switches, allowing users to replace compatible mechanical switches without soldering. This makes it easier to customize the keyboard's typing feel.

Blue Whale & Ivory White Switch Options

Depending on the selected variant, the SKY87 is available with Blue Whale or Ivory White linear switches. These switches are designed for smooth and consistent key presses for gaming and everyday typing.

Gasket-Mounted Construction

The keyboard uses a gasket-mounted structure with multiple sound-absorbing layers. This helps cushion keystrokes, reduce vibration, and provide a softer and more comfortable typing experience.

RGB Backlighting & Control Knob

The SKY87 features RGB backlighting and a dedicated multifunction knob. The knob provides convenient control over functions such as volume and lighting.

4000mAh Rechargeable Battery

A 4000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery powers the wireless modes, allowing the keyboard to be used without a wired connection. Actual battery life varies depending on RGB brightness, connection mode, and usage.

Side-Printed PBT Keycaps

Selected SKY87 variants use side-printed PBT keycaps, offering a distinctive appearance while providing good resistance to everyday keycap wear.
